The Ph.D. scholarship awardees will get a monthly salary that presently ranges from DKK 28,897 to DKK 34,898 based on seniority and a pension contribution of up to 17.1% of their monthly wage. According to the terms of the existing CBS agreement, the scholarship will cover the costs of tuition, books, office space, and travel.
Eligibility Criteria for Scholarships in Legal and Social Theory of Global Economic Regulation
- All nationalities are eligible.
- A Ph.D. in the area of the Legal and Social Theory of Global Economic Regulation qualifies as an eligible course or subject.
- Eligibility Requirements: The candidates must fulfill each of the requirements listed below to be eligible:
- The development of a theoretically informed research proposal with a distinct empirical focus is requested of applicants. Topics that could be covered include but are not restricted to How GVC regulation affects contract theory; How GVC regulation affects transnational ordering; How GVC regulation affects ideas of extraterritoriality or territorial extension and how that affects democratic decision-making; How to rephrase the idea of economic constitutionalism in the context of GVC regulation.
- The capacity to effectively describe a research objective in business humanities and law, as well as a strong academic track record or potential pipeline
- Enthusiasm for integrative empirical and theoretical research
- Ability to operate independently and in a team
- Exceptional organizational and written and verbal communication abilities; fluency in English is necessary
- For the capacity to interact with others in a way that demonstrates the school’s shared commitment to inclusion, equality, and diversity.
Application Procedure for Scholarships in Legal and Social Theory of Global Economic Regulation
- Applicants must submit a completed scholarship application form to be considered for this award.
- Supporting Records: The university requires the following paperwork from the students:
- an explanation of a novel research query.
- an explanation of the original theoretical foundation and methodology.
- a summary of the suggested empirical data.
- a three-year work schedule.
- transcripts of grades, a diploma for a bachelor’s or master’s degree, or other similar certifications
- proof of being in the top 40% of the class (in the absence of a passing mark).
- curriculum vitae (CV) that is succinct.
- a list of works, including publications (if any)
- one illustration of a chosen written piece (such as a master’s thesis)
- Applicants must have obtained a grade of 10 or above on the Danish 7-point scale on the Master’s thesis or an equivalent to be admitted into a Ph.D. program at CBS.
- Students must show that they can communicate clearly in both written and spoken English.
