Eligibility Criteria for ANU Eccles Ph.D. Scholarship in Medical Sciences

The ANU Eccles Ph.D. Scholarship in Medical Sciences is open to aspiring students who meet the following criteria:

  • is an international student;
  • is enrolled full-time at the Australian National University’s John Curtin School of Medical Research in a doctor of philosophy program;
  • has a First Class Honours Australian Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent, and possesses research papers and/or related research experience.

International applicants must submit their admissions applications by August 31 to be eligible for this award in the main round of scholarship offerings. Before applying for admission, it is strongly advised to speak with the appropriate Graduate Studies Convener or a potential supervisor to go through the suggested research subject and any pertinent issues.
