About Middlesex University and Scholarship

A public research university in Hendon, northwest London, England is known as Middlesex University London (officially known as Middlesex University and referred to as MDX). The university’s name is derived from its position inside the old Middlesex County borders.

St. Katharine’s College, the institution that served as the university’s foundation institution, was founded in Tottenham as a school for women seeking to become teachers in 1878. The university was established in its present form in 1992 after merging with many other institutions. One of the universities was founded after 1992 (formerly a polytechnic).

Over 37,000 students attend Middlesex worldwide and over 19,000 do so in London. The university has connections with more than 100 other academic institutions spread across 22 nations in Europe, the United States, and other parts of the world. At the Hendon campus of Middlesex alone, more than 140 different nationalities are represented. The Teaching Excellence Framework recognized it with a Silver medal in 2017. The university has won the Queen’s Anniversary Prize three times and the Queen’s Award for Enterprise twice for its efforts abroad. The government’s Teaching Excellence Framework honored Middlesex in 2017 for its excellent instruction. The institute received a Silver medal and praise for recognizing and rewarding instructors while also boosting student participation.

Note Benefits:

This $2,000 scholarship is available for the 2023–2024 school year. It will be given out in three installments over the year and is open to first-year undergraduates pursuing any field of study. (Since the Scholarship is paid in installments, the Trustees retain the right to withdraw the Scholarship if Middlesex study is no longer required for the remaining Scholarship installments to be paid.)

Professor Malcolm Sargeant Scholarship – Eligibility Criteria

Applying for the Professor Malcolm Sargeant Scholarship is possible if you meet the requirements listed below:

  • An undergraduate newcomer in their first year. (will enter the university in September or October 2023)
  • Any undergraduate coursework in any discipline.
  • English or Welsh national.
  • Individuals who are the first in their generation to enroll in college will be given preference.
  • Priority will be given to applicants who can demonstrate both their financial need and how this Scholarship will affect their academic goals.
  • The scholarship will be offered conditionally upon the candidate accepting and beginning their course; if the nominee does not do so, the scholarship offer will be withdrawn.
