The growth of Southern Africa depends on great leadership in several critical disciplines, and higher education may alter societies. The underfunding of postgraduate education has become a crisis and a significant barrier to change. Candidates can begin at any level and are not required to finish the whole program. For instance, candidates can begin at the level of the Postgraduate Certificate and progress through to the LLM, or they can quit after earning the PG Certificate. Candidates who have earned an undergraduate degree are eligible to begin at the LLM level without taking the PG Certificate and Diploma.

The University of London’s generosity in waiving entire tuition and examination admission costs for chosen applicants has made these scholarships possible. Exam costs in your area are not included. The LLM can take between one and five years to complete for scholarship holders, and enrollment in the course is contingent upon making adequate progress and receiving positive academic progress reports.

The application for the scholarship does not require admission to the program, but if you are chosen for a scholarship, you will need to submit a separate application for admission. Applicants are advised to meet the following conditions to be eligible for the LLM Masters By Distance Learning Scholarships at the University of London:

  • One of the following nations’ nationals, or one of these nations’ refugees: South Africa, Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe
  • Typically, people who live in one of these nations
  • Possessing the credentials essential for enrollment in the program;
  • Now working either full- or part-time;
  • Able to devote at least 10 hours a week to studying.
