Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences is now accepting applications for its partially funded Amsterdam Talent Scholarship.

About Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and Scholarship

What are the benefits of attending Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences? The institution assists students in training the future workforce in a variety of higher education topics and professions.

A sizable Dutch institution for higher professional education, the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, University of Applied Sciences (HvA), or Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS), was founded in 1993. In addition to a variety of (professional) master’s degree programs, the HvA primarily provides bachelor’s degree programs. Students from the HvA’s foreign partner institutions can enroll as exchange students and study there.

Eighty study options are available through the HvA at several venues across Amsterdam. The school continues to have connections with the University of Amsterdam. Over 40,000 students are served by the 2,300 staff members of the HvA.

Placements in a job are a crucial part of learning. Every student at the HvA participates in a practical work term to get real-world experience in their subject of study. Such placement may be in a business or organization both domestically and overseas. The HvA organizes the majority of its instruction into modules, which are delivered across two semesters or four ten-week intervals. Seven ‘domains’ (faculties) make up the 90 college programs offered by the HvA. The NVAO has accredited 23 of these programs. The institution offers various part-time courses in addition to full-time programs.

Successful non-EEA students who have been enrolled in one of the programs offered by the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences are given the Amsterdam Talent Scholarship after each academic year.
